I loveeee this topic! and you bet Aresha loves it as well, hence the giggles at the beginning. We also LOVE seeing the results of people slaying their contourings, but guess what, you can do that too, and slaying your Contouring game doesn’t have to be as complicated as you think or you see it is. It’s just a matter of less is more, and when you understand that, you can learn to build it up on your face if you want to 🙂

Contouring isn’t about changing your face for most of us on the planet who probably do not make a living as performers, models or actresses. If you’re that bigger percentage of the world population, then this read is for you 🙂

Aresha’s Tips and Tricks for Contouring

With videos by “experts” on YouTube or Instagram, you’d have to understand that they probably LIVE in doing Make Ups, or have had tonnes of practice, compared to you and me. Hence, for basics, we advice to STOP trying to achieve and imitate those approaches and debating within yourself along the way, on whether it should be dotted or lined on your face, and just use powder for contouring.

Suitable for people who loves the “no Make Up Make Up look” which is all about looking au naturel, POWDER BRONZER is your new best friend. This is also suitable and easy for everyday look and beginners too!

A product that is produced in way darker shades than foundations. Usually used to give fake sun tans on mostly light skin toned individuals, but for asians, you don’t need no fake tan, OK. So it is the BEST product to be used for Contouring.

Aresha’s Contour Powder Pick:

1.SEPHORA Powder Bronzer
Shade 3, which is suitable for light to medium skin tone. Ensure you get the “matte” finish

If you’re asian, it’s best to avoid shimmery bronzers. Like aforementioned, it’s most suitable and perhaps invented for paler skin tones. Not that pale skin tone is bad, it’s just that you have to understand how important it is to know your skin tone, and that note that all products shown to be used in mainstream media will allow you to achieve the same result on your skin tone.
