Finally, while we are nearing the second half of January, only am I about to post my FIRST entry in 2016.
This year, I intend to travel again. However, I have tonnes of boxes to tick before I get to do that in a heartbeat as I will not only be dragging my ass, but my husband’s and baby MM’s too. That’s family life for you, but it’s fun most of the parts, I promise!
That’s why I didn’t miss the Fashion Valet x Malaysian airlines contest last December, the #FVtakemethere contest where I posted heaps of #throwback of my travels between 2010-2013.
How I miss all the travelling action! Like the famous post on instagram, “If travelling was free, you’d never see me again” But in my context, it would be, “If travelling was free, you’d never see me and my family again”
There are HEAPS of goals I’d like to accomplish in 2016, however, being 29 this year (I am still 28, btw), I presume I should do things a little differently now that I see the world in a different perspective. The thing with goals and resolutions with me is that, once I list them, I never know where to start first and which is more important. So, the approach I am taking this year as a wise and grown woman (hehe) is, for starters, jotting down three main priorities of mine and work towards that. I think having a family and taking a year off from work to be a mommy (while tutoring part time), has made me see clearly what my priorities are. My three priorities this year are:
Now, each of course has its own sets of elaborations which by the looks of it aren’t syncing with one another, but that’s something I will be working towards this year. So for now, I am going to have to keep it to myself for a while but once I have achieved it, or figure out how to connect it, I’ll share with everyone, that’s for sure.
Anyhoo, back to the #FVtakemethere contest, I wonder when they will announce the winner?
Before my family and I embark on a new travel adventure this year, this is a recap of a second family trip we did (because balik raya doesn’t count), which was to Penang!
Yikes. I definitely had fun. It’s totally different travelling with your own family (read: baby), but I’m getting the hang of it, and most of the times, the mayhem that we actually showcase, it does get insane, but I am just enjoying it as it is and one day I’ll look back and remember the chaos. Definitely an experience like no other. Till our next journey!
