For Yaya’s wedding, this was our family’s first time to Kuantan together. I became friends with Yaya back in 2010, when we were both just started work and learning the realities of the world. I was an architectural Part I graduate whilst Yaya was a Part II graduate. Although we’ve known each other for only 5 years, it felt like we’ve known each other for such a long time. That was the only reason we braved the four-hour journey to Kuantan, as it was not a test of MM’s patience, but mostly her mama’s patience. Luckily AA was quite excited about this trip, as I think he has never been to Kuantan. So perhaps it was the perfect timing to take a trip to the east coast.
We stayed in two hotels just for the sake of experiencing a city hotel and a resort. Verdict; we love the city one more as MM is still too tiny to run around and enjoy the resort experience. The city hotel was next to East Coast Mall, the biggest mall in Kuantan, therefore we loved going on trips for lunch and dinner there.
